Between 4th-6th of November 2014 I demonstrated the Intrusion Detection system at VISION 2014, the world’s leading trade fair for machine vision. For this demo we used a stereo camera with an image resolution of 700x350 pixels. The application was deployed on a notebook PC (placed behind the wall) and the performance obtained was of 12-13 frames /sec.
The role of the protected object was played this time by a gravity lifter that had a CCD chip mounted on top.
